The James Beard Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to celebrate, nurture, and honor chefs and other leaders making America’s food culture more delicious, diverse, and sustainable for everyone. To help this cause they’ve created the Blended Burger Project and created a fun contest to get restaurants excited and involved by having them create a healthier burger for their communities to enjoy.

The contest is called, The Blended Burger Project. The project is a movement to strive and create a better burger by blending ground meat and chopped mushrooms to make a delicious patty that is healthier for those who eat it and more sustainable for the planet.

Paul and I had always enjoyed pushing the envelope by making new delicious menu creations for our community so Max Dale’s has—for the second year—joined this movement by creating a blended burger of our own using fresh ground beef and locally grown and cultivated mushrooms. Chef David has created a delicious burger treat for our community and we’d like our community’s help in supporting and spreading the news about Max Dale’s blended burger.

We’re inviting you, your loved ones and all of your friends to come into Max Dale’s for a wonderful dining experience and to taste the difference between a regular burger and our blended burger. Our community is the greatest source of support for us. So it would mean a lot to all of us here at Max Dale’s and we can’t do this without your support.
