As a longstanding restaurant family in Mount Vernon, we are so proud of all of our employees. Most have been with us for years, some have been with us for decades! Elmo Rojas is one of those amazing contributors to our team for over 17 years.

Elmo is one of those inspiring persons, and his story is an incredible testament to his passion, dedication, and love of all things culinary. “When I was 12 years old, I was really passionate about food,” said Rojas, now 37. “I always wanted to be a chef when I was a kid.”
Well, that day has come! Elmo recently graduated from Skagit Valley College’s culinary program through an inventive partnership with Max Dale’s. And he did it in half the time.
